Privacy Policy

Summary
- The original audio never leaves your device. Transcription happens on the device, and recordings are not sent to any server.
- What is sent to a server is only the transcribed text you choose to upload and company sign-in identifiers, meeting titles and duration, and error diagnostics on iOS.
- Transcripts are stored on a server operated by the company using the app. The Seeso company workspace uses a server operated by Seeso.
- When used personally, notes stay on this device only and are not sent anywhere unless you send them yourself.
- We do not track you for advertising or analytics, and we do not sell data to third parties.
Two ways to use this app
Eumme can be used in two ways, and where your data goes depends on which one you use.
| Mode | Sign-in | Where notes are stored |
|---|---|---|
| Personal | iOS: Sign in with Apple / Android: no account required | On this device unless you choose to export. |
| Company | Company credentials or Google sign-in | The connected company workspace server |
In personal mode, the information received from Sign in with Apple (user identifier, name, email) is stored only on this device during normal use. To revoke Apple authorization when deleting an account, a fresh Apple authorization code is temporarily sent to the central server for token exchange and revocation. The central server does not store codes or tokens. Apple’s Hide My Email prevents your real email address from being given to the app.
Information we collect
| Item | Purpose | Where it is stored |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Sign-in and locating your company's server | Your company's server |
| Name and user identifier | Company account display and access control | Your company’s server |
| Transcribed text | Creating meeting notes | Your company's server (only if you choose to upload) |
| Meeting title and duration | Listing meeting notes | Your company's server |
| Error diagnostics | Diagnosing recordings that ended abnormally | Your company's server |
| Apple authorization code and tokens | Revoking Apple authorization for personal account deletion on iOS | Temporarily processed by the central server and Apple; not stored by the central server |
What we do not collect: Audio recordings, location, contacts, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers.
About error diagnostics: sent once on the next launch, and only when a recording ended abnormally. It contains recording start and stop times, state changes, the app version, the device model name (e.g. iPhone 17 Pro) and OS version. It never includes meeting content, titles or audio, and nothing is sent when the app worked normally. Personal mode sends nothing.
How audio is handled
Eumme uses on-device speech recognition (Whisper). Recording and transcription both happen on your device, and audio files are never sent to any server. Recordings are kept only in the device's internal storage and are deleted when you delete them in the app.
Where data is stored
Eumme connects to a server that is separate for each company. When you sign in, your email domain is used to identify your company's server; only the domain string is passed to Second Team's server-lookup function. Your credentials and meeting notes do not travel through that path — they go directly to your company's server.
Uploaded notes are managed in the connected company workspace. Account deletion removes notes uploaded by that account, including notes shared with the team. Notes uploaded by other members are kept.
When used personally, there is no server storing your recordings or transcripts. They stay on this device and are removed when you delete the app. They do not sync between devices. During iOS account deletion, the app temporarily communicates with the central server and Apple to revoke Apple authorization; the central server does not store authorization codes or tokens.
Permissions
| Permission | Purpose | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Microphone | Recording meetings | Required |
| Notifications | Showing recording status | Optional |
| Face ID / Touch ID | Locking the app | Optional |
Account and data deletion
In the app, Settings → Account → Delete account lets you review the scope and request deletion. Recordings and transcripts belonging to the current account on this device are removed; other accounts’ local data is kept. Deleting an individual local recording does not delete an already uploaded web meeting.
When used personally, Android can be used without a server account. On iOS, a fresh Apple authentication verifies the account and revokes authorization before removing local recordings, transcripts and Apple sign-in information. If authorization revocation or server processing fails, the data is kept and you can retry.
When used with a company account, authenticate in the app to delete the account, associated sign-in and integration records, and meetings uploaded by that account, including team-shared meetings. Other members’ meetings are kept. Server failures are shown as failures and can be retried. The last organization administrator must transfer administrator access before leaving. If the app is unavailable, use /api/auth/account-deletion on the connected company website or contact partner@seeso.kr. Exported files, requests already processed by external AI services and copies posted to Slack are not automatically recalled by this feature; request their removal separately from the service or your company administrator.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell collected information to third parties or provide it for advertising. If the meeting summary feature is used, the transcribed text may be sent to the AI provider configured by the company using the app (for example OpenAI or Google). The company chooses the provider, and audio files are not sent in this case either.
Notion you connect yourself: when used personally, if you enter your own Notion integration token and send a note, that note's transcribed text is sent to your Notion. The token is stored only on this device and does not pass through Second Team's servers. Sending happens only when you tap the button; nothing is synced automatically.
Exporting to other apps: you can export notes through the iOS share sheet to Google Drive, Files, Mail and other apps you choose. In this case Eumme only hands the file to the operating system, and you pick the destination at that moment. What happens afterwards follows that app's own privacy policy.
In both cases audio files are never sent — only the transcribed text.
Children's privacy
